White Christmas

Day Six at Catch the Bug Christmas in July, prompts the film White Christmas and the picture below.

         

I chose to use the picture and a white theme, image from Bugaboo, coloured with Promarkers and a snowflake to embellish, it's for a little one whose first birthday is just after Christmas so will be a Baby's First Christmas Card.

Kraft Christmas

Something very different today, I simply printed the image onto Kraft card and highlighted the snowy areas with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen, thought this might be suitable for hubby the sparkle isn't nearly as obvious IRL.

Elf

Day four at the Catch the Bug Challenge is a Bingo Challenge, the prompt the film Elf.

I used the diagonal line, ribbons and bows, bugaboo image and die cuts, making a circular shaped card, one of my favourite shapes, colouring the image with Promarkers.

Anything but a Card

The challenge today is anything but a card, with Santa Claus is Comin' to Town and animated Film as the prompt. Image from Bugaboo used to create a gift tag.I had white snowflake embossed gift bags bag cannot remember where I put them, far nicer than the kraft.

Day Two at Catch the Bug

Day two's Challenge is to follow the sketch and link your creation to the movie. I used Winter Birds , the link being the bells, sentiment from TLC. Christmas Cupcake

I participated in the week long challenges at Catch the Bug at the end of last year and when I saw the Christmas in July Challenges decided to try and play along every day if possible. A great way to get well ahead with Christmas makes.

The first challenge to create a project from one of these 3 movies.

I chose to use The Santa Clause Movie as Scott Calvin had to increase in weight over the period between 2 Christmases and developed a very sweet tooth.

Cookie Factory

A card  I made last week on a dull day it'll go in the school bus box, and be given to one of the children who use the bus. Image from PC Crafter long closed sadly. Love how quickly you can make these images into cards with a few die cuts to layer them up.

CAS Christmas

Since I know I'm not going to have much time between now and the end of November I had a day playing yesterday ( the weather was rotten)and managed 7 cards altogether, some are very similar using the same dies with different images. This one was free with Simply Cards and Papercrafts some time ago, minimal colouring with Promarkers and a sentiment from TLC.
